Is nothing sacred any more?

Ok - The whole reason I started this blog thing is because all my friends were doing it and I thought that I would join the fun. The only problem is that no one else is doing it any more? Have we lost sight of our priorities? I'm just kidding... Seriously though, you all need to update because I've been bored with no new posts to read.

Here's a quick review of my life...

Teusday - get out of school. Go home and eat dinner. Mom ends up in the hospital.
Wednesday - I do nothing all day long.
Thursday - Thanksgiving. Everyone is together except Brad, Katie, and Mom.
Friday - more like Black Friday... I got the pleasure of working at Shoe Carnival for 9 hours. That was fun. Thank goodness it was from 1 till 10. Mom came home today.
Saturday - Slept a lot
Sunday - Church and then more nothingness.

JTLUK

By the way... I've been doing about five posts in one day. This is just easier to help seperate and compose my thoughts. So if your one to come to my site and read the post, you might want to scroll down and look for the dates. Cinnamon - I'm not sure if you saw my other ones but I know that you commented on my latest post.

Dream 3

I had another dream last night. This one wasn't poetic or encouraging as the previous two. It's actually more disturbing than anything else.

I was in a building much like the high school and I was walking down the hall with a couple or other people next to me with guards around us. We were all wearing really really really white shiny clothes and the guards were wearing black. We were walking towards a giant room to wait. After awhile we start walking out of the room and down another hallway. I see a man (and somehow I knew that he was the one in charge) and he was holding a gun. I began praying over and over that God would forgive me and I kept repenting for everything I've done. I kept wishing that I could have been baptized and feared that I wouldn't be saved since I didn't.
We were waiting in line and I saw up ahead that he was shooting the people in front of us. We kept getting closer until we were in the center of it all. The guards pushed us down on our knees and we were helplessly looking at the man holding our lives' destinations. I looked over at the others next to me as I said one last prayer and asked if they were ready to see Father. (not THE father - meaning I was speaking more strongly of the relationship with God). We all began saying the Lord's prayer when thankfully the dream ended and I didn't have to find out what happened.
It is also unfortunate that I didn't get to "experience" heaven but hopefully I'll have the continuation of the dream tonight.

Isaiah 55

I was trying to find a good verse for the column at right and found the following passage and I wanted to share it. It's a bit lengthy to put in the right column.

"Seek the lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the evil man [forsake] his thoughts. Let him turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on him, and to out God, for he will freely pardon.
'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,' declares the Lord. 'As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. You will go out in joy and be led forth in peace; the mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands.'" Isaiah 55:6-12

"Wake Up Call"

Billy just sent me a comment on my fine arts post about creating a movie. I'm not sure if I talked about it or not but here is a detailed log line of the synopsis.

The main character (I'll just call him MC) starts the movie out by normally living his life. He is one of those average Joe's that is kinda the type that hangs out with the wrong crowd but does go to church (one of those "I'm a good person just because I go to church" person). This Sunday is like no other. The rapture happens and the majority of the church instantly vanishes. MC looks around and sees a couple of dazed and confused people that are in the same boat as him.

Now the action starts - MC tries to continue his life as best as he can. But since most of the world's population is missing, crime rates are up and life is hard. The government begins trying to take action to prevent utter chaos. This doesn't work.

Enter the AntiChrist - He begins doing his thing like Revelations predicts. The mark of the beast is introduced. Gov't says that anyone who doesn't accept it shall be killed for going against the decree of the land.

Climax - MC doesn't accept the mark and is about to be executed, when...

Scene cut - MC suddenly wakes up in his bed in a normal life to a ringing phone. After a moment to think about what is going on, he answers the phone. After a slight pause a deep voice responds "Good morning, this is your wake up call". End.

I want a really powerful message in a high suspense thriller movie. The image I have is great but because I am a junior in high school with no money and no studio to shoot such a film is very difficult. But when I think about all this, the story of David comes to mind. David believed he couldn't fight the giant but he trusted God to help him with his great feat.

The best part of this project would be the ending because of the wake up call. It physically says "After seeing this whole movie and what life really COULD be like, what choice are you going to make. You need to wake up and realize that the Lord will soon return and you better make the choice to live than possibly die in the chaos of the world".

Fine arts

On Saturday Brian and Julie Steel (the Bible Quiz state coordinators) met with us and our team to give us tips and helped us do better. We took them out to lunch as a little thank you gift and we got talking about fine arts. They already knew that I was good with computers and tech and video stuff. (Ironically they're son's name is "Bryce" and he's on Geek Squad). So they said that fine arts competition has a film competition.

So today I've been thinking about some log lines that I could shoot a movie about. One idea came to mind is the rapture. Now to skip all the controversy and debate it would start from the point of the rapture and only talk about the daily life of a specific individual. So there really wouldn't be any eschatology stuff in it.

I do have some awesome ideas for it but they are all impossible to do because it requires adults and actual buildings to be used. This might be kind of difficult to get a hold of. I think I'll pray about this for awhile.

Encouragement...

Encouragement - This time through a dream.

Lately Pastor Hiser at my church has been speaking about the anointing of God. These have been amazing services. For awhile now I've been praying that God would transform my life and that he would speak to me. I especially like dreams because they can mean different things and it gives me something to meditate upon. One night I wasn't expecting anything and I didn't even pray about it. God gave me this dream:

Being a guy, we all have the same "struggle" (you know... chapter 5 from "Every Young Man's Battle") So I was in the moment and being tempted. And as I was about to do sinful things, the Holy Spirit moved and let's just say "completely ruined the mood" which was a good thing.

That was it. Kind of weird because it was rated R and was very graphic, but it was highly encouraging. So I prayed about it when I woke up, just to thank God for the dream. No by no means does it make me have less of a hard time of a circumstance. I believe that when God begins lifting us up that Satan will try to work harder to bring us down. So these passed two days were not very good days but that can't fully obfuscate my focus.

About a month ago, I was in the shower and was trying to keep my mind fully focused on God and then I began getting really angry at Satan because of the apparent temptation. I physically and spiritually said "I am filled with God's Spirit and my mind is focused on Him and I will not disgrace the presence of the Lord with sinful acts." So now this is the phrase I say when I'm having it rough. It means so much because as anointed servants, we should be "Holy and blameless and pure" in His presence.

Laugh very hard. The relationship wouldn't last... There'd be way too much sarcasm.

How long have you known number 8?
About a year, maybe more

What do you think of number 7?
I like how she's quiet, because then it's more fun to think about what she's thinking about. Plus it's hilarious when she finds something funny by the way she reacts.

A fact about 9?
He sang an offertorial today at church.

Who is 2 going out with?
No one currently

What's 5 do for a living?
I'm not sure

Where does 7 live?
On the other side of Norwalk from me.

Is number 12 your best friend?
Not my best friend but he's definitely up there, and we get along really well.

You miss number 6?
Kinda, but I'll see her tomorrow. It's always an adventure with her.

What is your opinion of number 4?
I'm sort of planning to ask her out.

What do you think about number 11?
Really cool...

Would you ever go out with number 1?
... (sorry Jeremy)

What would you do if 3 and 13 were going out?
She's dated weirder guys (sorry Daniel)

Ever gone somewhere with number 10?
Kind of... We've worked on some productions together. We are planning to go to Cedar Point sometime next year.

What would you do if 11 and 5 were going out?
I don't know but I could see it happening.

What do you think of number 3?
Awesome Friend!

Here's some more proof...

I know that this sort of thing goes on my other blog but I couldn't resist putting it on here...

I am nerdier than 89% of all people. Are you a nerd? Click here to find out!

So there you go. I really wanted to know. I've taken another one just before this one and it took about 30 minutes to complete. I really am a geek. I would have scored higher if I took an interest in Star Trek and Star Wars. But I don't...
